Our Learners’ Agreement
All Learners who come to our training centre are required to sign our agreement and
by doing so, are committing to our rules which are as follows:
All learners are required to take responsibility for their own learning,
engage fully in their chosen programme, maintain good attendance,
punctuality, and attitude, and behave respectfully towards staff and other
learners.
Have a good attitude to your learning by ensuring good organisation of notes,
files and assignments. Take responsibility for 8catching up9 on missed work
due to absence, complete and submit assignments and meet deadlines.
Give top priority to your studies ensuring that other activities such as driving
lessons or attending sporting events do not conflict with your time at OET.
Behave in a way which ensures the health and safety of all those in centre.
For this reason, skateboards, roller blades, etc should not be used on site.
Respect the needs of others for quiet around the site and maintain a high
standard of tidiness around the College. Mobile phones must be switched off
in classes or other study areas and all rubbish must be placed in a bin.
Show consideration and respect for neighbours of the College, especially
when driving / parking in streets around the College
Ensure that all payment plans, and course fees are paid in full and on time.
Failure to do so may lead to your suspension of studies and you not being
able to complete the course.
Return books and equipment lent to you by OET promptly.
You must not take any action that could bring OET into disrepute.
You are not permitted to smoke on the grounds of OET and the college, this
